Notary Services FAQ

1. What do I need to bring to my notary appointment?

Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.), along with any documents you need notarized. Make sure all documents are complete and unsigned—signing must occur in the notary’s presence. We can also print out the documents!

2. Do I need to schedule an appointment, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are always welcome at Poppin Notary! However, to avoid waiting, we recommend scheduling an appointment online or giving us a call.

3. How long does a typical notary appointment take?

Most notary appointments take 10-15 minutes, depending on the complexity of the document. We strive to get you in and out quickly!

4. Can Poppin Notary notarize any type of document?

We can notarize a wide variety of documents, including affidavits, contracts, power of attorney forms, and more. If you’re unsure if your document qualifies, give us a call!

5. How much do notary services cost?

Our fees vary based on the type of document and service. We’ll provide you with a clear estimate before your appointment—no surprises!

6. What if I need multiple documents notarized?

No problem! We can notarize multiple documents in a single appointment. Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll make sure we’re prepared.

7. Does Poppin Notary offer after-hours or weekend appointments?

We are open Mon-Fri from 9am to 6:30pm and 11am to 3pm on Saturdays! If you can't come to our location during these times, we also offer mobile or remote notary services (for an additional fee).

8. Can I get a document notarized if I’m outside the state or country?

Absolutely! With our remote notary service, you can have documents notarized securely online, no matter where you are.

9. Do I need witnesses for my document?

Some documents may require witnesses in addition to the notary. You can either bring your own witnesses, or Poppin Notary can provide them for you. Just let us know in advance.

10. What if I need help understanding the document I’m signing?

While we can’t provide legal advice, we can guide you through the notary process. If you have specific questions about the document, we recommend consulting a legal professional before your appointment.
