Service Description
Poppin Notary provides mobile notary services for individuals detained at the Tacoma Northwest Detention Center (NWDC). IMPORTANT: AN ATTORNEY/LAWYER IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY! Attorney access is arranged for you and is included in the $775. You do not need to find or hire an attorney separately. PRICING — $775, all in: - $775 covers the first document, the attorney required for entry, and travel to the facility. - $35 for each additional document signed during the same visit. - No separate travel fee and no per-signature charge. $775 is the total for one document. - Full payment is required at the time of booking. Credit/debit cards only. THE ATTORNEY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Once the attorney is scheduled and appears at the facility, that portion of your payment cannot be refunded — even if the notarization cannot be completed, for example because the signer's ID cannot be verified. Please confirm the signer has valid ID before you book. Service Details: - By appointment only – advance scheduling required - Covers documents such as Power of Attorney, Sponsorship Forms, Legal Agreements, and more. We notarize signatures on forms you have already completed. We do not prepare, review, or advise on any form. - All signers must have valid identification or be properly identified per detention center procedures. - Tell us how many documents you need signed when you book. Additional documents are $35 each on the same visit, which is far less than booking a second appointment. - Cancellations may be subject to a non-refundable fee. The attorney fee is non-refundable once the attorney has been scheduled.
Cancellation Policy
Scheduling Mobile Appointments: - Mobile notary appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or our online booking system. - Customers must provide the type of document, number of signers, and any special requirements. - Full payment is required at the time of booking. Appointment Confirmation: Confirmations will be sent via email or text with date, time, and location details. Arrival Time & Accessibility: - The notary will arrive at the scheduled time and wait up to 15 minutes for the signer(s). - If the signer is unavailable or unprepared, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and the travel fee (based on county) will not be refunded. Identification Requirements: - All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID (current or issued within the last three years). - If a signer does not have a valid ID or is deemed unable to sign (e.g., lacks awareness or willingness), the travel fee (based on county) is non-refundable. Document Preparation & Upload: - Documents must be completed before notarization, except for signatures. The notary cannot assist in filling out the document or provide legal advice. - Clients may upload their documents for printing at least 48 hours in advance via our website: https://www.wixforms.com/f/7374180659117425698 Fees & Payment: - Full payment is due at the time of booking. - This includes the non-refundable travel fee (varies by county) plus notarization fees per signature/seal. - We accept credit/debit cards only—no cash payments. Refunds and Rescheduling Policy: If you are unable to attend your appointment or if the notary is unable to complete the notarization due to incomplete documents, missing valid ID, or any other disqualifying factors, you have 30 days from the original appointment date to either request a refund or apply your payment toward a rescheduled appointment (excluding the travel fee, which is non-refundable). Compliance & Notary Rights: - All notarizations comply with Washington State laws. - The notary reserves the right to decline service if documents are incomplete, if fraud is suspected, or if the signer cannot provide valid ID or demonstrate willingness/awareness to sign. Privacy & Confidentiality: Client information and document contents remain confidential and are handled per privacy laws.
